212 Degrees F. and Beyond: Boiling Water and Pressure Canning is an introductory course designed to provide participants with basic research-based knowledge and scientific resources on the basics of boiling water and pressure canning. This class is presented as a step-by-step technique overview and is guided by specific learning objectives, with a focus on safety. Participants will learn how canning preserves food, the proper equipment, appropriate foods choices, prep and suitable recipes for this method of home preservation.
