Plant Sale 2023 — A Pepper for Every Palate

Are you using only Bell Peppers? Bells are great but try expanding your horizons with a few of the 24 kinds of peppers we’ll have.

From sweet that don’t look like they would be sweet (Jimmy Nardello, Giant Marconi, Sweet Sheepnose) to little ones that pack a punch (Fish, Thai Dragon, Chinese 5 color), there will be a pepper for you.

Love stuffed peppers? Try Ausilio Thin Skinned Italian. With the first bite, you’ll think “this is a nice little pepper”, but the next bite says, “this one has character!”.

For just a little bit of heat, try Anaheim, Garden Salsa, Mariachi or Pepperoncini.

Are you braver? Try Hungarian Wax, Serrano, or Jalapeño.

Are you Really brave? How about Habanero at 350,000 Scoville (or heat rating), Fatalli-up to 400,000 Scoville, or the ultimate- Bhut Jolokia (better known as “Ghost” pepper) at 1,000,000 Scoville. They don’t get much hotter than that!
