Make a Kokedama – a plant growing in a ball of soil encased in moss secured by twine, string or wire that can be hung in a window or placed on a tray or dish. It is a Japanese term – “Koke” meaning moss and “dama” meaning ball & is in the Bonsai tradition of creating artistic forms with plants. Bring to class a plant – 4” pot or smaller, ideally a foliage plant that doesn’t need full sun like ivy, pothos, spider plant, fern, or staghorn fern. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
